Do you know what your online reputation is? You may have claimed your Google Places and perhaps even set up some of your directory listings but do you occasionally check your directory listings to see what your online reputation is? You may be surprised.
I’ve spoken to folks who had no idea they were getting reviews, good or bad. Of course it’s great to see the good reviews but it’s really important to take action when you see a bad review as well. So here’s your homework. Find out how many directories you are in. If you aren’t sure, do quick search on your domain name and see how many sites come up. Browse through the first three pages of Google and see how many of those listings are directories and go check to see if anyone is talking about you, your business, or your employees. Your online reputation is more important than ever. I put up reviews good and not so good about the places I visit and plenty of people do the same and it increases all the time. If you don’t have the time to do a search manually, feel free to request a report from us that will give you your Internet score as well as tell you what directories you are listed in and which ones have reviews.
